Molly in Aug 2006, I was just told
that she might have cancer in her
mouth, and I was trying to decide
if letting her go was going to best
for her
It turned out that she did not have

of 2003
I adopted Molly in Feb. 1993. She was supposed to be a gift for my son, but we soon
discovered it my me that she wanted. She was at my heels every step I took. She
went bye-bye with me often and loved it. She had 3 litters of puppies in her lifetime,
none of which was easy on her, she would not relax enough to go into labor, on the
3 rd litter she had to have a cesarean section and I decided that was enough for her,
she was spayed at the same time. She raised beautiful puppies and was an excellent
mother.
Molly often would go into the woods with my son and I to cut wood but as her
hearing started felling her and almost falling a couple of trees on her we decided
that she should stay at home, but did she want to go with us. She seemed to sense
when we were going to the woods.
Then in 2003 I adopted Gabryelle my Papillon and Molly did not want anything to do
with her, and then one day when no one was looking she started playing with her
and so a friendship begun.
Molly's hearing continued to worsen until she no longer could hear, but Gabryelle
would get her attention by barking in a very high pitch bark and if that did not work
she would  tap her with a paw to go outside to potty.
Then last year arthritis set in her back and it was countless visits to the vet and
medication and soon she pulled out of it and started playing with the paps. This year
her teeth had really gotten very bad despite brushing weekly, her thyroid had been
a problem for several years but was under control.
On November 22, 2006 I had just gotten home from a trip to the vet with some
puppies and had let everyone one to potty. Molly came back in as usual , I then went
to the post office to mail a package.
When I got back I needed to leave ,so I told Gabryelle to go get Molly , I saw her
lying in the living room by the lounge chair, Molly did not come back with Gabryelle.
When I went to see why she did not come I saw why, She had died  while I was at the
post office.
She is buried in my back yard to always be near

      " Bub"
May 20, 1994--Feb, 20, 2010
Bub was Molly's son and possibly the last known relative of
Molly's Bub was Molly's 2nd litter, He loved life and was one of
the healthiest dogs I have ever had. On Dec, 29th 2009 I went
out to feed him and he fell down, I thought maybe he was
having mini strokes, it was going to get very cold over the next
few days, so I decided that Bub would have to go inside the
house . Bub was an outside dog having only stayed in the
house when he was born and one other time after that. over the
next couple of weeks Bub showed no other signs of anything
wrong with him, so I decided to put him back outside, he
seemed to be getting too hot in my house and it was getting
back up in the 40's. But Bub showed my in about a week that
something was wrong. He fell to the ground again and was
losing weight. Off to the vet we went. Bub was diagnoised with
Heart Failure, the right side of his heart was very much
enlarged. He was started on Atenolol but soon had to go on
Lasix. He would pass out and come back to. His heart rate
dropped to a normal amount but his abdomin continued to be
enlarged . despite being put on a stronger heart medicine, his
heart gave out on Feb. 20, 2010 , just 3 months shy of his 16th
birthday. Bub went peacefully to sleep . Bub is buried in my
back yard at the foot of his mother Molly

                               A Rosebud

When God calls little puppies to dwell with Him above,

We humans always question the wisdom of His love.

For no heartache can compare with the loss of one small 'child',

Who does so much to make this world seem wonderful and mild.

Perhaps God tires - always calling the aged to His fold,

And so He picks a rosebud before it can grow old.

God knows how much we need them and so He picks but few;

To make the land of heaven more beautiful to view.

Believing this is difficult, yet somehow we must try,

For the saddest word that mankind knows will always be
                                  "good-bye".

And so when little pups depart; We, who are left behind,

must realize how much God loves puppies....

For angels are hard to find.
