I saw an advertisement for a male
papillon in the newspaper and
decided that I would like to have my
second papillon, I called the lady and
she told me he was not show quality.
I had no desire to show so I wanted
him. There was someone else that
was interested in him so I had to wait
to see if the other people wanted him.
Guess what they did not so I bought
him. As it turned out Gabryelle and
him has some of the same pedigree. I
tried and tried to think of a name for
him but could not come up with
anything. He looked so much like a
little wolf.
I got on the internet and looked up
French names, I decided I really liked
the name Oliver and his sire's name
was Lancelot and then tried to
narrow it down to the meaning of
wolf. Raul means of the Wolf in
French and Oliver and Lance means
of the legend. So it was that Pappy's
Oliver Lance Raul was named.
Oliver is my 100% lap dog, he has to
be close to me all the time, loves his
bath time and has fallen to sleep
when being given a bath, does not
mind his toenails being trimmed,
loves the inside of his ears washed.
Oliver got his leg hung in an old
piece of fence when he was young
and a lot of things you do to him, he
thinks you are trying to hurt him
because I had a very hard time trying
to get his leg loose. I blame that on
his ill temperament. I had him
neutered because of his
temperament. But he will never leave
his FOREVER HOME with me. Oliver
does not like the camera, so it is hard
to get good pics of him
